My electrical problems were growing increasingly weird by the week. First the microwave wouldn't work on normal power outlet but worked fine when connected with extension cord. The the internet went out and there was no power downstairs--lights wouldn't come on, some but not all power outlets worked. Then the lights would come on dimly and then fade out. I called on a Thursday evening and explained the problem. Ron was at my home the next morning! He diagnosed the problem--the 37-year old breaker on one of my 200 amp panels was shorting out. The entire panel had to be replaced due to the damage. Ron came out the next morning (Saturday!) and replaced the panel. Pricing was reasonable and Ron was very professional. His 20+ years experience clearly came through in his speed of diagnosis as well as speed of repair. I now feel safe that I won't have a fire caused by my electrical system! I absolutely recommend Rolo with no hesitation!

Ron/Rolo Electric just wired up my new hot tub and switched over the breaker to a 50amp. When I made my initial call to him he was very knowledgeable of the set up I had for the old hot tub and what needed to be done for the new. He was very confident which made me confident to use him for this work. Additionally, his price was great when compared to the two large electrical contractor companies I also received estimates from. Note that neither of those companies made me feel confident that they knew what needed to be done like Ron did. He communicated well and was very personable. He completed the work on the day/time he committed to...actually a few hours earlier as the new hot tub was early. I highly recommend Ron and Role Electric.

Called Ron out to diagnose and confirm what I thought sure was an exterior outlet short...wrong. Turns out the connection to our lamppost weakened and finally failed after several years. Last night, December 27, we experienced a home power outage on one of our electrical circuits, and the circuit breaker had not tripped and also would not reset; therefore, numerous outlets would not function. After calling three different electricians first thing this morning and consistently getting service dates into mid-January, I wondered when I would be able to obtain repair service. Concern over the potential of a fire I found Rolo Electric on a Google Search, with numerous complimentary ratings. I called Ron, the owner of Rolo Electric at 9:23AM, explained my problem, and he said he could fix it today. Imagine my pleasant surprise when he knocked on the door almost 2 hours to the minute later, after giving me a heads up 15 minutes earlier by text. Ron prioritized my service call, recognizing the seriousness of the issue. He did a thorough diagnosis of the problem, investigating each outlet for potential loose wiring, as well as the main service control panels. Ron was efficient, courteous, and patiently explained what he was looking for as the problem. He found a loose Neutral backstab (push-in) connection in the TV outlet. One of the Neutral wires was burnt from arcing from a loose connection. Ron replaced the outlet with a new screw connection type I had on hand. He showed me the what was wrong on the old outlet (Photo attached). He also replace a 2nd broken outlet with one of my new outlets, the one I would have selected as the problem, and would have been wrong. His service charge for the call was very reasonable and the problem diagnosis and repair time very concise. We discussed a future electrical project I want to have done, and I’m looking forward to Ron’s estimate. I highly recommend Rolo Electric for any electrical work and plan the utilize Ron’s services in the future! UPDATE 06FEB2024: As mentioned above, I received an estimate from ROLO Electric for additional work running new electric service to help solve the root cause of the problem we had in December. Ron ran (3) new dedicated circuits /and new circuit breakers to reduce the number of outlets on the single circuit to prevent overloading as we had in December. Ron’s estimate was accurate, fair, and invoiced the work as quoted. He exceeded my expectations, provided a professional installation and finished a day ahead of schedule. He cleaned up the debris from the job after completing the work. I plan to have ROLO Electric back to do some additional work and can highly recommend Ron’s company for your electrical work. UPDATE 01March2024: This week, I had ROLO Electric install (2) new 80kA surge protectors on our main electrical panels for the incoming power. These will help protect our home electrical wiring from power surges from the electric company and from a lightning strike on our home. This is the third project I have had ROLO Electric install in my home, and as in the first two projects, Ron did an excellent job at a fair price and in a timely manner. Ron is truly a professional. From one business owner to another we know what we are looking for when finding a technician for anything around our homes. He blew those expectations out of the water. He texted me everyday with up dates to remind me about being on the schedule and when he was arriving. He was very kind and personable and great with the dog and our 4 year old daughter. Another reason we went with him is because during the quote process he said he recesses the exterior outlet, which I have never heard that before. Which in my opinion looks way better and more sleek when having an outlet installed on the outside of a house, even in the brick. Rolo Electric did a fantastic job installing a 240v well pump upgrade system at our home. The entire process was clearly explained from start to finish, and has enabled a much needed higher capacity well pump to be installed to bettet support our growing family's water supply needs.

Ron did a great job in our house, upgrading the service side up to the electrical panel included. He’s always here to help and explain if you have any questions and very easy to work with. He offered to provide us with a 110V battery pack while the electricity was turned off.

Had a faulty outlet in the kitchen that was connected to other outlets in the living room so none of them were working. Ron came by and had it fixed in what felt like less than 20 minutes! I was finally able to connect my internet and microwave up and things are running smoothly.

Highly recommend! Ron is fantastic, timely and honest. He responded quickly to replace a burnt exterior electrical outlet that we were worried about. He even gave us advice for replacing our bathroom exhaust fan motor ourselves. It was much easier to do than expected and saved us money! We lost power to half the house. I called Ron on a Sunday and he explained that his rates would be more economical if we could wait til Monday. On Monday, he came right out, found the problem within the first hour and fixed it, charging us only the initial visit charge. While searching for the problem, he found three other problems; the wrong fuse, in a separate fuse box, a wire, broken inside the wire insulation and a light fixture, hung using the wrong electrical box. He didn't charge us for the fuse or the wire and, while he didn't have the correct box with him to fix the light fixture, he scheduled us another appointment to bring the correct box and fix it. He made this appointment a continuation of the first appointment so that we would not be charged another service call. Not only is our initial problem solved, but our house is now safer thanks to Ron. No reason for us to ever use anyone else.

Ron came out to install a ring security camera. He had the best pricing and was the most responsive company, with questions, that we found. He installed the camera exactly where we wanted it and did a great job doing it. Then on top of it while he was here; he found an outside electrical outlet that didn’t have proper wiring causing there to be no power to it. And this was in our newly built house. He fixed this for us, and then also found an exposed ground rod on the side of our house we didn’t notice was sticking up a good 4-6 inches out of the ground. To say Ron did a great job is an understatement! If we ever need any electrical work done we will absolutely be calling Ron at Rolo Electric.

Ron came out the same day (Saturday) to determine what needed to be done to solve a hazardous tag left by AES on a meter. I had an electrical fire at midnight and by the following morning he had everything fixed and the power back on. Really great guy and great service. I had Ron come back out in May 2024 due to a tree limb falling on my power line and he charged me like $6000 less than a competitor who was trying to do more work than needed to be done. ROlO Electric is an excellent resource for residential electrical repairs. I had a circuit breaker that would intermittently trip. ROLO Electric responded in a timely and reliable manner over three separate events until the intermittent problem was found and repaired. I think that other electricians would have given up and requested the customer to stop calling. ROLO Electric omitted to stay with it until it was fixed. The rates were very reasonable and included only one initial service charge versus repeat service charges for each visit. Highly recommend anyone to call ROlO Electric.

I had an excellent experience with Rolo Electric's Electrician Ron Perry. Specifically, Ron put in a new Electrical Power Panel and Cicuiit Breaker Box which replaced the original 1966 unit. In addition, he installed an Electrical Receptical and Circuitry to support my new Westinghouse 12500 Peak Watt portable backup generator. My wife is on Oxygen 24 /7 and always needs electrical power to drive her Oxygen generator. Ron was always prompt and on time when he visited our home to give an estimate, e-mail the estimate and offer a choice of convient intallation dates. He arived on time and complete the work in a timely efficient manner. His cleaned up after he finished and his work was flawless. He also completed the work for his exact price estimate. Excellent service from start to finish. Rolo Electric was punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. After I tore down our previous ceiling fan. There was no box and extra wires I didn’t understand, I was in over my head. They installed a ceiling fan box and ceiling fan for us, and did a fantastic job making sure everything was secure and working perfectly. On top of that, the pricing was fair and transparent. They use quality materials and name brand products. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. Ron is a great person, and does honest work. Looking forward to working with them again on other projects I have around the house.

I am happy to write Rolo Electric and Ron a positive review. My home required some work to complete its sale, and Ron was the only person out of nearly a dozen residential electricians I called to promptly and kindly communicate that he was capable of said repairs. The home is 100 years old and contains knob-and-tube wiring that needed to be removed from the second story attic during a recent heat wave in which temperatures reached the middle to upper 90's. This made work in the attic unthinkable for most, I'm sure, but Ron pushed on knowing that I needed this work done within a certain timeframe for the sale of the home. To add to this, prior work to the old knob-and-tube was apparently done poorly, so Ron had to go the extra mile and completely re-wire all second story electric in the attic which he did at no additonal charge. He had stated prior to beginning that once he gave me a quote the cost would not change, which I found to be quite reasonable for the nature of the job, and he held to that. He went the extra mile to no extra charge to me. My wife and I are grateful to have employed him for the job. I even asked her to make him some cookies. I cannot recommend him enough. If I am ever in need of residential eletrical work again, I can only hope he'd be wililng to drive 40 miles to my new home. That's how much I trust him.

Severe thunderstorms overnight caused partial outage on Sunday morning. I called several electricians and left a message; however, Ron picked up my very early morning call. He advised that I call AES first and make sure it’s not a problem that they can fix. I did and was told it was inside the house issue. I texted him and gave him an update to which he called back right away. It was not a problem for him to come over, but he wanted me to tray couple of things. He said if it resolves the issue, I just saved money. So we did do the things he asked us to try and the power was restored. It cost me $0 and gave me an electrician whom I can trust. Praise the Lord! Thank you Ron!!!

We very strongly recommend working with Ron of Rolo Electric. In a nutshell, he guided us so well in a tough decision we wanted to make that required knowledge we do not have. He was fast in communications with us, helpful when the product we bought didn't work at first, very reasonable in time to service, competitively priced, and very pleasant throughout our time around him. In detail, we wanted to purchase a portable generator, and felt overwhelmed when we started reading everything about them and all of the decisions that go into which one, how they work, who to pick for installation, etc. Finally, we contacted Ron and he got back to us right away and explained what he thought we needed based on our descriptions of what we were trying to accomplish, and sent a link to one he thought would work, along with a written cost of the installment fee. We bought the one he suggested, and after it was set up and after following all of the manual's instructions, it would not start. He offered to swing by and got it started. Then, when he installed the electric, he made sure we knew what to do and left detailed notes so it would be clear when we need to use it. We could not have had a better experience with Ron, and are very pleased we found him.
